The SDB Contracts team were awarded the contract at the V&A to remove high level vegetation from the Seawall and to conduct discovery point slipway repairs on the existing cobbled setts ramp to the River Tay. These works had to be safely executed and planned in detail due to the team working near water. Our timing to carry out the works had to be perfect due to the tidal nature of the River Tay, to ensure we maximised the time available to work on the project. All works were executed to a high standard, in a high profile area of the city, and we used environmentally friendly materials throughout to ensure there would be no risk to the local wildlife and natural eco systems in the river.
