SDB Contracts were awarded the contract to widen the existing cycle path on a busy section of the A92 Dundee to Abroath Carriageway. Working for Tayside Contracts, this project had to be approved by Bear Scotland. This project required full lane closure, to allow the SDB Contracts team to safely carry out the works. Our team worked during restricted timings and outwith rush hour traffic to minimise disruption. This project included Earthworks which were carried out in a limited space. We constructed a new 2.5m wide footpath, installed a 1.5m high Visirail, and installed a new post and wire fence. The works were completed on time and took our team two weeks to complete.
